Welsh Library Project
Purpose:
Purpose:
- To establish a multimedia resource in Lackawanna County Libraries for
the preservation and study of Welsh-American history and culture.
- To encourage other ethnic groups to add their history and culture to the
library by creating a prototype for a regional ethnic studies resource.
- To provide a resource for educating our citizens about the vital role that
their unique regional history and culture played in America's success.
- To make NEPA's history and culture available and inviting to scholar
and tourist alike beyond our borders.
